Liability Waiver

Trip-hop • Alternative R&B • Lo-fi

Biography

Liability Waiver is a multicultural trip-hop trio that defies physical borders, crafting its immersive sound entirely through online collaboration. Hailing from three different countries, members Julian Adam Burdzyński (Italy), Lena Tray (USA), and Markus "Kohl" Bauer (Austria) converge in a shared digital space to weave their distinct influences into a cohesive, atmospheric whole.

Their music, a rich tapestry of downtempo rhythms, lo-fi warmth, and classic trip-hop melancholy, is built from a precise alchemy of talents. Producers Julian and Markus lay the foundational architecture, with Julian providing intricate drum programming, keyboard textures, and live kit sensibility, while Markus adds his evocative guitar work and co-production vision, also serving as the project's frontman. Lena Tray anchors the sonic landscape with deep, melodic basslines and expertly curated samples, further coloring the palette with complementary keyboards.

Together, as Liability Waiver, they transform the challenge of distance into their greatest strength, creating cinematic and introspective music that feels both globally informed and intimately personal.
